Nose
Oaky. Obvious sherry influence. Walnut stain. Peppery. Dark chocolate.Marasquino cherry. Liquorice. Touch of humus.
Palate
Crisp and slightly harsh. Oak prevails, hence a grippy sensation. Beeswax. Chocolate with brandied cherry.
Finish
Dry and astringent.
Comment
The sherry dominates on the oaky side. Too much for me but if you like woody corpulent whiskies, this one is for you.

Nose
Caramalised apples with cinnamon crunch, Dime bars, ploughed earth. Sort of an oily edge, wax or leather jackets. Riding boots. Roast pineapple and sweet chilli.
Palate
Bitter oak up front with that caramalised apple. Then runny honey before the oak spices take grip. Powdered giner and nutmeg.
Finish
Long with ginger.
Comment
Has aged well and retained a certain freshness to it. A sherried delight.
