- Nose
- Young but richly coloured and fruitladen. Clafouti, plum, redcurrant,
stewed rhubarb. Good complexity with clean, fresh lemon behind.
- Palate
- Sweet and chewy with excellent texture and deep soft gentle fresh
fruitiness.
- Finish
- Ripe and soft.
- Comment
- On this evidence, Penderyn is really finding its feet. Generous
and compelling. Compare to the Tomintoul.

- Nose
- Spirity at first. Earthy. Wet leaves. On time a heady floral note. Peony. A
musky rose fragrance. A very attractive floral bouquet.
- Palate
- Immediately woody and grippy. Praline and chocolate.
- Finish
- Dry and astringent.
- Comment
- The nose is miles away from the palate. Sad as I was expecting more
complexity and subtlety.
