Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Sweet smokiness. A breakfast malt, with sweet-cure bacon? Palate Seems empty at first. Flavours take a very long time to emerge. Creamy malt; long, lingering sweetness. Late, very restrained oak. Finish Restrained spiciness. Lingering warmth. Comment More Imperial than Port. With or without Port, I would like to see more Imperial.

Dave Broom Nose Sweet (hey, there's a theme here) and even sweeter with water. Butterscotch, stewed rhubarb, macaroon bar/coconut and a light crisp nuttiness. Palate Rounded. Toffee and malt, macadamia nuts playing against concentrated red fruits. Finish Sweet and soft. Comment Decent, but only for those with a sweet tooth.
