- Much sweeter. Creamy. Oily.
- Finish
- Juniper and sea-salt in a savoury struggle against gingerbread and quince.
- Comment
- All the action is in that finish. A clear points victory for the whisky, with brandy going the distance.

- Bolder peat. Sweet enticing.
- Palate
- Sweet and chewy malt and then an eruption of peat and spice.

- Long and lingering, a simplistic, entirely uncluttered infusion of malt and peat.
