Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Peat, Juniper. Fruit skin, or am I being suggestible? Palate Very peaty. Some creamy, sweeter, nutty fruitiness coming along behind. Iron. Finish Saltiness reasserts the coastal identity. Comment The least characterful of the three Caol Ila wood finishes

Jim Murray Nose Ripe fruit covers the peat but leaves the vanilla unscathed. Palate Unbelievably soft, with a hint of cherry. Finish No more than an echo of smoke and spice. Comment There are times when whiskies can be just a little too gentle....and this is one.
