Nose
Slightly feinty, cereal notes. 'Midget Gems'. Palate
Quite sweet, with just a hint of oiliness. Weetabix. Perfume – lavender water? Develops, and peaches when reduced. Finish
Satisfyingly long – the breakfast cereal lingers. Comment
A dellicate but satisfyingly complex dram. Arran has been getting better and better, perhaps this will be the optimum age.
Dave Broom
Nose
Light, intense. Quite tight and grassy with green grape. Still some new make character. Palate
Light and clean with crisp sweet cereal (Frosties). Middleweight but slightly unformed. Finish
Short. Comment
The spirit is still coming together. Would have been best kept in the cask for a few more years.
