- Nose
- Oaky. Dark wood, walnut stain. Dunnage warehouse. Prune. Dates.
- Palate
- Crisp, dry. As the nose let expect, oak dominates. Bittersweet. A sherry character. Lots of dried fruit. Spicy. A touch of chilli. Ginger and nutmeg.
- Finish
- Lingering. Spicy and oaky.
- Comment
- Deep and rich. The sherry has overwhelmed the distillery character. But a beautiful oaky expression. And a characterful profile.

- Nose
- Like walking into a dunnage warehouse, antique wardrobes. Dark fruit and a little oak spice.
- Palate
- Plenty of oak here. Dry, astringent notes then trail mix. Plenty of mixed spices here and creamy oak.
- Finish
- Long and juicy.
- Comment
- Just the right balance between the sherry notes and oak for me. Spot on.
