- Sweet. Burnt. Caramelised.
- Palate
- Brown sugar on porridge, followed by marmalade on toast.
- Finish
- Hot and drying.
- Comment
- For a ghost, quite aggressive.
Dave Broom
80- Nose
- Assertive, nutty and malty with burnt stubble and rich bourbon oak. Dry but characterful. Good oakiness.
- Palate
- Lemon, vanilla with crisp red fruits and orange. Decent feel. Fills the front of the mouth then narrows and tightens. Very direct, as the nose suggests.
- Finish
- The memory of oak and grass. Appetising.
- Comment
- I like its directness, there's nothing fussy or fancy about this, just a bloody good drink.
