Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Faint peat-smoke fragrance. Flowery. Greengage fruitiness. Custard. Palate Lively, very sweet, fresh marshmallow, crystallized fruit. Finish Light, dryish, tangerine-like, refreshing. Comment For teatime – more fun than Darjeeling.

Jim Murray Nose Trademark malty, grassy simplicity, with an extra dollop of vanilla oakiness for depth. Palate Sweet and spicy with a biscuity, doughy firmness. Finish Sweet finale, lacking complexity. Demerara sweetness wins through. Comment A very pleasant dram which shows Cardhu in its usual ultra-genteel light. Hardly complex, but a delightful dram from first to last.
