Michael Jackson Nose Big. Very perfumy. Incense, sandalwood. Malt and vanilla. Palate Very assertive. Intense. Sugary. Nutty. Perfumy. Lots of depth. Finish Powerful. Very spicy indeed. Peppery. Gunpowder tea. Comment This little-known malt almost always surprises me with its robust flavours.

Jim Murray Nose A feather-light, deft aroma boasting a subtle but curious guava fruitiness. Palate A composed and delicious maltiness gains hold for the most intense of crescendos. The climax is almost erotic. Finish A long, oak-rich afterglow. Comment Do whiskies get any sexier than this? An essay in balance and complexity for its age that teases and tantalises the taste buds mercilessly. Outstanding: truly awesome!!
