Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Rich. Sweet orange marmalade. Vanilla pods.
Palate
Firm but silky-smooth. Waxed orange skins. Nutty. Grainy. Suggestion of coffee.
Finish
Peppery. Bison grass. Peaty, smoky. Some bitterness.
Comment
A breakfast whisky?

Martine Nouet

Nose
Rancid notes at first which give way to elegant oakiness. Passion fruit, honeyed apples.
Palate
Very smooth and syrupy like a liqueur. Wood does its stuff. A pleasant creaminess.
Finish
Dry, oaky with a hint of burnt wood. Almond milk. Quickly dries out with spices.
Comment
The unpleasant rancid aromas on the nose are not perceptible on the palate. Doesn’t fulfill the expectations of age.
