Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson

Nose
Faint smoky fragrance.
Palate
Still a lively interplay of exotic fruit sweetness and smoky dryness.
Finish
Fragrant again. Some woody bitterness but more restrained than in most St Magdalene.
Comment
Livelier, fresher, less "difficult" flavours than in most bottlings.

Dave Broom

Nose
Gentle and floral. Wet grass, green fruit, violet, coal bunkers. Water flattens it a bit.
Palate
Light and delicate. Pineapple, grass again. Seems a bit tired.
Finish
Short, watery.
Comment
Brings to mind those fragile Swiss white wines. All very delicate and ever so slightly faded.
