Nose
Highly scented and spiced. Lots of saffron, mint, lavender. Benedictine/yellow Chartreuse style aromas along with orange Smarties (chocolate sweets).
Palate
Sweet and spicy but not overly cloying. Balanced.
Finish
Chocolate and nut.
Comment
Well made.

Liquor-like. Sweet, even sugary. The high strength is deceiving. Caramel, a hint of citrus fruit.
Palate
Sweet but the alcohol shows behind the sugar. Nougat. Praline. Orange peel. Getting bitter and spicy. Warm sensation. Thus syrupy feel is weird.
Finish
The alcohol balances the sweetness.
Comment
Another whisky liquor ? Ah, a Canadian whisky ? With an addition of sugar obviously. I would have scored it higher if it had been a whisky liquor. Let's call a cat a cat!
