Dave Broom
78- Nose
- More clove like polished rosewood casket. Thicker and sweeter than most, some brazil nut and toffee. Rye is in the background.
- Palate
- Soft with some oak and cocoa. Quite gentle to start but the rye slowly unsticks itself from the toffee and begins to grow and grow.
- Finish
- Lime and orange cut with oil of cloves and ginger...then typical youthful dustiness.
- Comment
- This is a clever, tricksy rye. Worth a look.

- The rye is lurking here,first thing you get is polish and wood. However some sweet notes mixed with a light nuttiness.
- Palate
- The rye seems to hit first,retract and the come back again towards the end. Some wood notes and toffee too.
- Finish
- More oily than the others and zesty.
- Comment
- Took me a little by surprise. Seems to be one thing then shifts.
