Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Rosebank's typical camomile. Palate Lightly creamy. Flowery sweetness. Finish Mint imperials. Comment Relatively young, but beginning to weary nonetheless. Perhaps this tiredness is caused by worry about the future. A feminine whisky that has lost the first bloom of youth. Snatch a kiss while you can.

Dave Broom Nose Fragrant. Light fruits, fresh pear, creamy and zingy-ginger beer? There's smoke and a hint of green, sappy sticks. Palate It rolls nicely in the mouth. Elegant, with little spikes of flavour: nut, grass and flowers laid on top. Light and delicate. Soft, clean and quite floral. Finish It all zips into life at the end. Comment This remains a cracking dram. Shame the distillery is being bulldozed. No, make that a disgrace.
