Dave Broom

Nose
Overtly sweet and scented. Jammy. Some plum pudding. Sweet yoghurt/energy bar,blackcurrant leaf. Light clove,allspice and dried citrus peels. The grassiness has gone.
Palate
Very sweet and like it is flirting with liqueur territory. Ponche. Damson jam and very scented still.
Finish
An exotic boudoir.
Comment
Lochnagar can cope with sherry but for me this is just too sweet.

Nose
The aromatic quality has changed. Now fruitier with darker spices coming forward. Almost a red grape skin tone.
Palate
So sweet it almost hurts your teeth. Like someone has added demera sugar to a fruit tea.
Finish
Spiced and long.
Comment
Again has moved the original into a different dimension.
