- Nose
- Overtly sweet and scented. Jammy. Some plum pudding. Sweet yoghurt/energy bar, blackcurrant leaf. Light clove, allspice and dried citrus peels. The grassiness has gone.
- Palate
- Very sweet and like it is flirting with liqueur territory. Ponche. Damson jam
and very scented still.
- Finish
- An exotic boudoir.
- Comment
- Lochnagar can cope with sherry but for me this is just too sweet.
- Nose
- The aromatic quality has changed. Now fruitier with darker spices coming forward. Almost a red grape skin tone.
- Palate
- So sweet it almost hurts your teeth. Like someone has added demera
sugar to a fruit tea.
- Finish
- Spiced and long.
- Comment
- Again has moved the original into a different dimension.
