Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Perfumy maltiness. Fragrant smoke. What the nose promises, the palate delivers. Palate Silky. Very full flavours, but very light on their feet. It is the interplay and dexterity that captivates. Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers? Billie Holiday and Lester Young? Finish Dry, oaky, more-ish. Comment A work of craftsmanship, elegance and its own style.

Dave Broom Nose Slightly shy to start. Subtle notes of dried mushroom (cep), casks, dried flowers, graphite, bitter orange, tea caddy tobacco leaf. Ever-changing and mature. Palate Dry and elegant. Seems fragile and old but with real character, then a startling orange lift and a tickle of smoke. Finish Dried peels and nuts. Comment Fragile but fascinating.
