Dave Broom

Nose
Big, mature, and ripe. Suede, dust, walnut and a hint of varnish. Chestnut honey, Chinese black Oolong, berry fruits. Balanced and complex. Fruit leather (in both senses).
Palate
Again that peachy ripeness. So much fruit that it bulges and expands in the middle of the tongue. Butterscotch, then light liquorice and cedar.
Finish
Gentle and smooth.
Comment
Ripeness and weight is the key here. A gentle monarch.

Nose
Mellow and complex, sweet fruits and dark rich honey. Almost bourbon biscuits. A spiced apple note, cinnamon and baked sultanas.
Palate
A nutty edge balances all the soft fruits, rich flavours too of cigar boxes and Angel Delight.
Finish
Long and spicy.
Comment
Stunning blending.
