- Nose
- Cleanly oaky. Dessert apples. Toast. A hint of char.
- Palate
- Big, smooth, sweet.
- Finish
- Crisp.
- Comment
- An attractive, tawny, colour and a good, straight-ahead, whiskey. Could be more complex at ten years. Ideal with a Texas barbecue?

- Nose
- Attractive, soft nose. Nutty (hazelnut, peanut brittle) with some oak tones. In time, liquorice, cream toffee, walnut, coffee bean, smoke/soot.
- Palate
- Soft fruits: peaches in cream with a little wood towards the back.
- Finish
- A little short and dry.
- Comment
- Well made and pretty punchy, but maybe just a little too dry.
