- Solid vanilla and chocolate with some mashed banana and clean dry spiciness behind. Cold green tea,vine flower. Oddly Cognac like.
- Palate
- No Cognac here though! The honeyed start fools you then it dries intensely and begins to build in spiced intensity. Clean and well balanced. Some green fennel notes.
- Finish
- Closes down nicely.
- Comment
- Balanced and controlled.

- Another clean nose with a good rye grip. There is fruit here but all is balanced perfectly.
- Palate
- The rye is sharp and concentrated after a sweet Golden Syrup start. There is a hint of toffee apple and spun sugar.
- Finish
- Leaves you wanting more.
- Comment
- Not quite an in your face rye but shows balance and promise.
