Nose
Clean with a lightly scented quality,a touch of vanilla pod and spiced apple juice. Freshly baked cakes,polished oak and flaked almonds. Moves into medlar,green banana and some oak.
Palate
Strangely anonymous to start though there's a sweet and mellow juiciness in the centre. Clean and buttery,but a lack of grip and mid-palate weight. Water kills it.
Finish
Cream with a hit of bitterness.
Comment
A little bit of a let-down after a superlative nose.

Nose
Perfumy.Floral and nutty. Tangerine. Fruit toffee. Hint of popcorn. Changes constantly. Enticing. Oak is well integrated. With a dash of water, releases fresh mint.
Palate
Smooth at first. With a good spicy dryness carrying along. Toffee again.
Finish
Dry, spicy but not hot. Lingers nicely. Brazil nuts.
Comment
A well balanced and characterful dram. The nose is really charming,the palate just a little restrained and stiff but give it time.
