- Nose
- Malty. Treacle toffee. Appetising, juicy, sherryish, oak. Poire Williams.
- Palate
- Layers of malty, nutty, flavours.
- Finish
- Intense raisiny sweetness, then drying on the tongue, with a suggestion of char. A hint of cough sweets.
- Comment
- Lovely chestnut colour. Soothing. After dinner and in front of a log fire. A touch woody, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

- Finish
- Big soft and gentle. Liquorice and soot.
- Comment
- A big gentle well-balanced dram. Deep and old.
