Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Soft. Very flowery. Nasturtiums? Garden bonfires. Palate Light to medium. Smooth. Flowery but substantial. Orange blossom honey. Finish Spicy, long, dry peaty. Comment A surprising amount of peat in this usually very delicate malt.

Dave Broom Nose Fragrant, smoke: smoked meats, medicinal, but also flowers and citrus. Great complexity. Palate Layers of complex, balanced, flavours. Wonderful weight: thrift, flowers, smoked meat, spice. Precise and balanced. Finish Long and slightly dry from the smoke but complex. Comment If you're not a member, sign up now!
