- Nose
- Light and aromatic:raffia, marshmallow and a touch of strawberry. Light citrus (orange) and honey, but there's huge oak influence here:sawmills and sweet sap.
- Palate
- Completely different to the nose: it's juicy, syrupy and ripe with tinned fruit salad (grapes, pears and apricots) and baked apple before a spicy heat comes through.
- Finish
- Long and sweet.
- Comment
- Lovely balance. A slow sipper.

- Nose
- Fresh juicy oranges with a light lemon note too. Like opening a box of recently picked strawberries. Underneath there's pencil shavings and wet newspaper.
- Palate
- A little like the final layer of trifle, mixed fruit in jelly. Big waves of juicy fruit.
Some spice gives it a bit of a kick.
- Finish
- Sweet and very engaging.
- Comment
- One for a long summers night, possibly with a light cigar.
