80- Nose
- Still decidedly orangey, but much more restrained. Very nutty and malty. A touch of sherry and oak.
- Palate
- Gentle. Lightly oily. Orangey, perfumy. Creamy, oaty, malty notes. Well rounded.
- Finish
- Firm but light. Flowery. Heathery. Hint of peat.
- Comment
- More subtlety sophistication and elegance than the Platinum.

- An unreduced nose of smoked cheese, toasty wood, rich fruits, rubber and crème brûlée. With water added: honey, fresh sawdust and bran.

- Sweet, concentrated red fruits along with toffee, caramelised fruit and a soft grainy mid-palate.
