Tasting Notes

Michael Jackson Nose Still decidedly orangey, but much more restrained. Very nutty and malty. A touch of sherry and oak. Palate Gentle. Lightly oily. Orangey, perfumy. creamy, oaty, malty notes. Well rounded. Finish Firm but light. Flowery. Heathery. Hint of peat. Comment More subtlety sophistication and elegance than the Platinum.

Dave Broom Nose An unreduced nose of smoked cheese, toasty wood, rich fruits, rubber and crème brûlée. With water added: honey, fresh sawdust and bran. Palate Sweet, concentrated red fruits along with toffee, caramelised fruit and a soft grainy mid-palate. Finish Clean and dry with a hint of lemon. Comment A soft, gentle, labrador of a dram.
