- Quite oily, some nutty sherried notes, then bran, cooked apple and caramel.
- Palate
- Reminiscent of glucose drinks. A little tingle of nutmeg.
- Finish
- Dries into cereal and some oak.
- Comment
- In the W&M camp of soft, fat and fruity.
Rob Allanson
- Nose
- Sweet sherry, malt loaf and some fruit candy. A little curry spice too.
- Palate
- Waves of caramel and some hazelnut. Eventually a sort of fruit pastille note develops, with more fruit.
- Finish
- Gentle with a slight winey note.
- Comment
- Another good whisky for playing and mixing with.
