90- Nose
- Deep, complex, elegant. Oak and fruit are lusciously integrated. Barley sugar, pears poached in vanilla syrup with a hint of lemon, Coconut blancmange. A liquid pudding cart ! Hint of mint tea.
- Palate
- Smooth and satin-like. Lovely feel. A beautiful outburst of spices and fruit. Honey in the back.
- Finish
- Lingering, spicy and fizzy.
- Comment
- What a great dram! Complex and beaming. I like it better neat.

- Massively complex, so much going on. Cooked oranges, baked lemon cheesecake and a little fresh mint. After a while some leather and pencil shavings.
- Palate
- Full of spices and heather. A touch of honeycomb. Mouth coating with great spices.
- Finish
- Long and warming.
- Comment
- Well aged and looked after, a lovely dram indeed.
