- Nose
- Intense, oaky. With a sour fruity note. Cider apple. Slightly waxy. Oak is prevailing but slowly steps aside to let sweeter notes show through.
- Palate
- Crisp and light. Less oak than expected. The same apple and vanilla notes as on the nose. Some Turkish delight too.
- Finish
- Soft, fading quickly.
- Comment
- An enticing oldie. But I bet it was in a better shape a few years ago.

- Nose
- Engaging with a cherry edge. Layers open slowly revealing creamy oak then lush toffee notes.
- Palate
- Refreshing with a hit of apple pie and custard. Almost a milk chocolate and
rose water note too.
- Finish
- Mellow and gentle.
- Comment
- A fine example of an aged grain.
