Nose
Intense, oaky. With a sour fruity note. Cider apple. Slightly waxy. Oak is prevailing but slowly steps aside to let sweeter notes show through.
Palate
Crisp and light. Less oak than expected. The same apple and vanilla notes as on the nose. Some Turkish delight too.
Finish
Soft, fading quickly.
Comment
An enticing oldie. But I bet it was in a better shape a few years ago.

Nose
Engaging with a cherry edge. Layers open slowly revealing creamy oak then lush toffee notes.
Palate
Refreshing with a hit of apple pie and custard. Almost a milk chocolate and rose water note too.
Finish
Mellow and gentle.
Comment
A fine example of an aged grain.
