- Nose
- A little dumb and not as effusive as you would ideally wish from this age. Some dry grasses/raffia, hints of crisp oak, privet clippings.
- Palate
- Another one which is quite discreet on the tongue - some charred notes from the cask. The spirit is intense, lemon accented with a crisp maltiness.
- Finish
- Sharp and short.
- Comment
- A little underwhelming.

- Nose
- Grassy. Lemon balm, angelica, meadowsweet flowers. Opening on cereals. Oatmeal biscuits. And on vanilla. With a touch of tangerine juice.
- Palate
- Smooth, thick, caressing. Stewed fruit in vanilla then a spicy outburst and dry at midpalate. Ginger biscuits. Water kills the enjoyment.
- Finish
- Dry, spicy, lingering.
- Comment
- Delicate and “whispering” on the nose, buoyant on the palate. A double
personality ? Hum, interesting.
