Nose
Malted chocolate milkshake, gravy browning, some toasted coconut and very intense cocoa powder.
Palate
Tinned peaches, passion fruit, and a host of tropical flavours all explode on the palate, without the slightest hint of them on the nose. With a dash of water, blackcurrant and sweetened cream come to the fore.
Finish
Dry oak, with a touch of the toasted coconut on the death.
Comment
A strangely closed nose, with a very vibrant, fruit driven palate.

Nose
Sweet almost scented candle wax, red lace sweets, rye notes, warmed yeast, Thai rice cakes, milk chocolate, becomes quite floral after a while.
Palate
Heavy alcohol at first then a sweetness comes through. Very jam like warmed rye bread with treacle. Water helps amplify this.
Finish
Very short and sweet.
Comment
Big and bold but that alcohol needs taming to get the best out of it
