Briny sea air. Juniper skins.
Palate
Olivey. Oily, Light. Junipery. Aromatic. Medicinal. Spicy, peppery.
Finish
Clean, dry. Tree-bark. Complex. Long.
Comment
A fine example of Caol Ila – in one of its peatier moods.

Nose
Dry smoky perfumed medicinal (Savlon) aromas. Herring nets drying on the beach with someone caulking a boat in the distance. Appetising.
Palate
Smoke wreathing around a soft centre. Dry and savoury smokehouse flavours with some dried lavender.
Finish
Dry, yet malty. Banana.
