Nose
Surprising. White chocolate, nougat, lemon curd. Coffee and cream liquor. Palate
Viscous, milky. Cappuccino. Good balance between palate and nose. Finish
Quite dry. Sappy, slightly astringent. Comment
Original bunch of flavours that Towser and her descendants would have enjoyed.
Dave Broom
Nose
Creamy. A pat of butter melting over wholemeal toast. OTT. Water brings out tangerine, lemon and spring flowers. Palate
Crisper than the nose suggests. The flowers are hanging in there along with some spiciness but all locked into the soft embrace of the butter. Finish
Quite light. Comment
Big, gentle and attractive if you are a fan of old-style Aussie Chardonnay.
