Nose
Beeswax, polished floor. Greengage. A touch of lemon balm. Palate
Full and richly flavoured. Discloses more cereal than on the nose. Finish
Hot and spicy (ginger). Comment
Wood has the word in the finish. An assertive Speysider to enjoy after dinner.
Dave Broom
Nose
Slightly hard and biscuity. Some bran flakes, a little smoke. Water makes it more fragrant. Not hugely complex. Palate
Dry start. Shuts up shop quickly on the palate. Malt, some spice but it’s all straight down the middle. Finish
Some cream and spices again. Comment
Inoffensive but not hugely exciting.
