A walk across the grassy dunes to a clean beach in a light, fresh breeze.
Palate
Teasing balance of sweet, creamy maltiness and salty, savoury, vegetal flavours. After the walk, warming soup.
Finish
Peppery dry. Bring on the cullen skink.
Comment
What a distinctive malt Brora was, and there are some excellent bottlings available.

Light and slightly numb. Wet stones, thrift flowers, herbs, smoke.
Palate
Dry and unyielding. Those herbs again, some almond and a light maritime character.
Finish
Short.
Comment
Not sufficient drive being given by the cask.
