Nose
Faint spearmint. Papery.
Palate
Thin, empty, drying. Tastes like exhausted chewing gum.
Finish
Papery, woody.
Comment
With its curiously greeny-white colour, this one actually looks like a ghost. A shadow of a great malt.

Dave Broom

Nose
Very, very pale. There's a wisp of smoke, a touch of light blossom and a hint of the smell that you get inside a new welly boot (not a bad thing in my opinion)
Palate
Very light with central sweetness and that light smoke again.
Finish
Just disappears.
Comment
All very light with no interplay between cask and whisky. Disappointing.
