Michael Jackson

Nose
Very flowery. Lemony. A touch of sulphur.
Palate
Starts quietly, with gradual flavour development. Dry. Cereal grain. Grassy. Burnt grass.
Finish
Slightly astringent.
Comment
Good for its age, but I preferred it two or three years ago.

Dave Broom

Nose
Light, then a suggestion of lawnmower box, wet grass and fresh green herbs. A sugary sweetness alongside a charred, phenolic note whick develops.
Palate
Seems light, but has a good weight mid-palate with those burn, smoky notes balanced by raspberry and lemon.
Finish
Dies a little quickly.
Comment
Attractive, but just a touch insubstantial, lacking the texture and flavour range to make it great.
