Tasting Notes

Martine Nouet Nose Prickly, even a bit spirity. Herbal, yellow Chartreuse. Angelica, lemon balm, star anis. Develops delicate pudding notes. Vanilla custard. Palate Surprisingly sweet. Very herbal. Verbena, lime tea. With a citrus appetising freshness. Finish Drier than at start. Slightly spicy and fizzy. Comment The cask was too tired to give roundness to that elegantly grassy malt. Dave Broom Nose White fruits clean and floral with touches of jasmine. Water shows a hard oak note before everything collapses. Palate Another very delicate dram. Apple blossom. Finish Clean. Very light, floral. Comment Has better weight than the Bladnoch.
