- An excellent example of Caol Illa, a highly distinctive malt that is gaining in recognition.

- Nose
- Pulsating peat, hint of lavender and mint. Some vanilla sweetens it with the malt.
- Palate
- Rich, oily, fat, chewy and then peaty malt that is almost perfectly sweet and clean.
- Finish
- Multi-layered with the peat forming the mighty base and then some supremely toasty malt notes arrive.
- Comment
- This is a very high quality, complex version of an underestimated malt at an optimum age. Fabulous!
