- Nose
- Buttercups, grass, currants and Turkish Delight. Metal and bubblebath notes became more apparent with water.
- Palate
- Christmas cake, with raisins and glacé cherries.
- Finish
- A light meatiness, like baked gammon.
- Comment
- Bags of cask character, and fine if you find finishes fun.

- Nose
- Quite sweet. Barley sugar, then sultana/fruit loaf, hay, spices being sauteed in butter, crisp oak.
- Palate
- Medium-bodied and fairly intense, high concentration of sweet fruits, yet slightly firmer than you expect from the nose. Well balanced.
- Finish
- Fine length. Dried peels/fruits. Tingling.
- Comment
- Well balanced and with more weight and substance than you might normally expect from this distillery. A good dram.
