Nose
Very young, drying hay. Quite refreshing with a minty whiff. A hint of butterscotch. Palate
Smooth and sweet at start. Leafy. Green wood takes over, developing on bitter notes. Finish
Quite short, not especially elegant. Nutty flavours cheer up a somewhat astringent aftertaste. Comment
A very young, new-make like whisky. On the bitter side. A fresh nose isn't enough.
Dave Broom
Nose
For starters, it's clear. Very light and clean, verging on neutral. Hint of vanilla. Flat ginger ale. Water brings out a sulphury, new make note. Palate
Very sweet and smooth-almost too sugary and slick. Finish
Huh? Comment
Is this whisky? (Part 1) I know the industry needs to 'convert' vodka drinkers but this is ridiculous.
