- Nose
- Posh, scented candlewax (like the type one might buy in Jenners, doncha know). Warm baking and a slight phenol character, like floor polish or swimming pools. Honey.
- Palate
- Lots of maltiness, more wax and an astringent citrus.
- Finish
- Grassy and slightly peaty.
- Comment
- Good, mature but still lively.

- Nose
- Light and clean but spirity. Faint tangy orange with a biscuity base note.
- Palate
- Sugary and citrussy. Marmalade notes. Silver Shred? Somewhat reminiscent of old fashioned Lucozade.
- Finish
- Sweet and warming. Late dusty cocoa dryness.
- Comment
- Simple blocks of flavour and aroma come together to form a whisky that might have benefited from a few more years maturation.
