Nose
Posh, scented candlewax (like the type one might buy in Jenners, doncha know). Warm baking and a slight phenol character, like floor polish or swimming pools. Honey.
Palate
Lots of maltiness, more wax and an astringent citrus.
Finish
Grassy and slightly peaty.
Comment
Good, mature but still lively.

Nose
Light and clean but spirity. Faint tangy orange with a biscuity base note.
Palate
Sugary and citrussy. Marmalade notes. Silver Shred? Somewhat reminiscent of old fashioned Lucozade.
Finish
Sweet and warming. Late dusty cocoa dryness.
Comment
Simple blocks of flavour and aroma come together to form a whisky that might have benefited from a few more years maturation.
