Nose
Malty and nutty. Rich hazelnut toffee. Dried apples. Some honey. Opening on pastry notes. Praline. Milk chocolate bar. Getting sweeter and creamier.
Palate
Sweet and smooth. Satin soft. More cooked fruit. Baked apples. Liquorice toffee. Drying on soft oak.
Finish
Dry, crisp but still sweet.
Comment
An autumnal dram with a good uplifting profile. Refreshing and lively. Fruit and oak elegantly mingle. I would avoid water.

Nose
Peanut brittle, a touch of musty bung cloth, golden syrup, star anise and bread and butter pudding.
Palate
Bitter dark salted caramel sauce, more peanuts, some very dry oak and a dusting of cinnamon.
Finish
A buttery, nutty note leads the finish.
Comment
I'd be nervous if you had a nut allergy here. Fortunately I don't and the obvious nuttiness is a hidden quality.
