- Young and immediately smoky: medicinal,bandages ointment and coal tar soap. Sweet underneath. A honey badger with its teeth bared.
- Palate
- Ash. Big smoky impact with some creaminess. Lighter and creamier than you expect,but collapses when water is added (so don't!)
- Finish
- Ashes (to ashes)
- Comment
- Strangely lacking in weight in the middle,this either needs to be bolstered a little - or bottled at a higher strength.

- Intensely marine. Thick peat smoke rising up above Ardbeg (?) on a drich day. Sooty. Then a warmer straw aroma. Peaches in cream.With water,a TCP touch.
- Palate
- Smooth, refreshing. Sweet cereals. A tender caress on the palate but in the same time,keeps a dry sooty feel.
- Finish
- Dry,slightly leafy. A nutty aftertaste.
- Comment
- A refreshing Ileach. Straightf orward, head in the kiln ! Smoke phobes,keep away from that fellow.
