- Nose
- Light almost lean, grassy nose: baled hay, light lemon, light peat. Has a mashy note with a subtle undertow of cucumber, sweet oak, earth. Water wakes it up.
- Palate
- These flavours are delivered best on the palate. Crisp and direct to start then softening into light toffee, ginger and a mouth-filling softness.
- Finish
- Hint of malt. Fresh.
- Comment
- A successful and intriguing balance between fragrance and dryness. Worth a look.

- Nose
- Mint sirop and an aromatic fragrant fruit, like guava. A good shake of spice, indicating a fair amount of age. With more time and water, lots of melon.
- Palate
- Intense mouthfilling fruit: oranges, apples and quince jelly.
- Finish
- Drying woodiness with a creosoted edge.
- Comment
- A real fruit bomb, dusted with spice. Deserves to be popular.
