- Nose
- Pale and strong and hot to start. When water is added the smoke emerges:seaweed (nori) light
lemon. Defiant and vibrant.
- Palate
- Clean and smoky with sudden peppery burst of smoked fish, and that seaweed/marine note.
- Finish
- Oak cakes and then a sweet syrupy note. Cheesecake! Then it all comes together well.
- Comment
- Might lack subtlety, but sure as hell it definitely delivers.

- Nose
- Sweet toffee and peat then with water, melon and pineapple.
- Palate
- Not like the nose. The fruit's there but so are salt and
oil,and a sharp and aggressive big mouth peatattack.
- Finish
- Long,smoky and peppery.
- Comment
- A fine example of young peat on the rampage.
