Nose
Thick and slightly oily. Boiled sweets, then a melange of fruit. Water increases the perfume and calms things down. Palate
Starts dry then oily then fruity. Very silky then tinned fruit, smoke, charred wood and salt. Finish
A little cloying. Comment
These strange combinations make me think of an unconventionally beautiful model like Erin O’Connor.
Arthur Motley
Nose
Chutney spices, like a good homemade tomato and onion chutney. Homemade plum jam. Marmalade on malt loaf. Wet peat. A box of dark chocolates. Palate
More floral than the nose, with a little peat smoke. Finish
Some meatiness and cloves. Comment
Bags of flavour and a good duel between cask and spirit.
