- Caramel. Stewed fruit. Distant smoke. A faint note of seaweed. Then a shy oak note. All aromas seem dimmed.
- Palate
- Sweet. A bit soft. A hint of stewed plums. Where is the expected peppery note ? Just a wee tickle.
- Finish
- Quite sweet and dimmed like the rest.
- Comment
- Difficult to taste a Talisker blind ! The strength tells all (though Lagavulin played a trick in this tasting).The legendary pepperiness is a memory.

- Rounded,dark chocolate, cappuccino,gingerbread leading to creme caramel with a toasty waft.

- Creamy,fruity,chocolate combination creates instant richness with a hint of underlying dryness,spice and toastyness.

- Ripe-dry balance continues in a luscious manner,culminating in toastyness.
- Comment
- An exciting,indulgent journey for the palate.
