Dave Broom

Nose
Vibrant and intense with a mix of green olive,salt,peppered fish and burning heather in the distance. Mineral notes. Sashimi and underlying pear like sweetness.
Palate
Maritime. Fragrant peat smoke unfolds immediately. A slightly oily feel to the mid-palate. Balance struck between sweetness,saltiness and dry.
Finish
White pepper.
Comment
It's the sweetness that's the key here.

Nose
Kippers on salted buttery bread. A light saltyness with a smoky accent. A pepper note as well as some stewed fruits.
Palate
A little sour at first – in a good way like apple sour sweets. A big waft of peat hits you with a distinct pepper. note developing
Finish
Huge and long.
Comment
Sometimes I forget how maritime this 10 Years Old is. A great outdoors dram for sailing or walking.
