- Nose
- Medium to full. Touch of smoke. Earthy with a mix of dried fruits and nuts,
blackened butter, turf and polish.
- Palate
- Big and well balanced between the smoke and a real pure orchard/dried fruit character which mellows to the back palate. More rounded and mellow and allows the smoke to emerge. Balanced.
- Finish
- Gentle, light smoke.
- Comment
- Neither as covered up as some or as exposed as others, this is a classic, bold old style blend.
- Nose
- We are back in the humidor again, but with a Nutella sandwich. Smoke, hazelnuts and chocolate. A little toffee and burned sugar too.
- Palate
- Smooth with plenty of malt. More toffee and nuts. A hint of liquorice and
then the smoke.
- Finish
- Dry with oak and smoke.
- Comment
- Another classic blend, a true every man whisky if ever there was one.
