Nose
Now things are getting seriously weird. This is green! Shows good age with lightly charred wood, some earthiness, wet moss. Needs a drop of water to bring out a little smoke.
Palate
Sweet start and then an explosion in the middle of the mouth, all blackberries, black banana and a little coal-like smokiness. Mouth-filling. Water pulls it together.
Finish
Smoky.
Comment
Great balance and a real surprise in the mouth...and it's green.

Nose
Restrained. Wood keeps the leadership but there is not much to lead! A sherry hint maybe.
Palate
Very sweet and flat. Like dismantled. Wood plays the boss again without convincing.
Finish
Woody and thin.
Comment
The colour (bleak bronze) puts you off. The nose is restrained and not inviting. And the palate .Well, has obviously overcome its peak.
