- Nose
- Now things are getting seriously weird. This is green! Shows good age with lightly charred wood, some
earthiness, wet moss. Needs a drop of water to bring out a little smoke.
- Palate
- Sweet start and then an explosion in the middle of the mouth, all blackberries, black banana and a little
coal-like smokiness. Mouth-filling. Water pulls it together.
- Finish
- Smoky.
- Comment
- Great balance and a real surprise in the mouth...and it's green.

- Nose
- Restrained. Wood keeps the leadership but there is not much to lead! A sherry hint maybe.
- Palate
- Very sweet and flat. Like dismantled. Wood plays the boss again without convincing.
- Finish
- Woody and thin.
- Comment
- The colour (bleak bronze) puts you off.
The nose is restrained and not inviting. And the palate .Well, has obviously overcome its peak.
